Worry I've been slacking!

Hey everyone, sorry for slacking on my posts. I have been on spring break since Wednesday the 21st. I wanted to wait to post so I could include pictures but I will give a brief summary and then I will post about each destination separately, therefore, you will have a lot to view! We started off in Paris, which I loved but was expecting more from all thr movies. Also, the prices were outrageous like 22 dollars for a hamburger! Needless to say we had to budget haha. From Paris we went on to Barcelona, which was amazing. Though it's not the Safest city, we stayed at a party hostel, which was in a great location. I met a retired NBA/pro basketball player, who took us everywhere for VIP (free everything) which saved my wallet! We went to the coolest clubs, met so many people, had the best experience of my life! After Barcelona we continued on to Venice, which I have visited before. We did a lot of shopping, I ate too much gelato, and we enjoyed gondola rides and dinners by the canals. After Venice we basically had a lay over in Milan, because we had a three euro flight from there to Budapest, where I currently am. We ended up no where near our hostel, had to take two buses and a cab to thehills of Milan, where we slept until our flight at 8am. Too bad I didn't see any of the city. Haha. Then we flew to Budapest, where I have been too tired from partying to fully enjoy it. But we made the best of it and and have been loving the beauty of it. We have seen the castles, markets, bridges, islands and etc.But when I have time ASAP I will post all photos and blogs for each city! Love and miss you all!

  2. HI:n Brooke
Nice to see that you are back in town,I guess you had a great trip to Paris,Barcelona & Venice.
I wasn't surprised that you found Paris to be very expensive.
Sounds like you had a good time w/ the "PRO Basketball Player" & got a few "Freebies"in the right places.
Look forward to seeing some of your pictures from the trips to the various areas,I have enjoyed the previous ones.
I also loved the "Gelato",when Gammy Dot & I were in "Sicily" they were fantastic along w/ the "buscuities".
Nada is doing "Easter Sunday" this year, I will be making a Spinach Rollup & my very favorite cold cuts & cheese rollup for the party, everyone loves it,all of the women keep hinting for me to make it for them,"Sorry Ladies no Chance" I'm not in the "Pizza" business.
The weather here has been very hot & the time seams to be flying by,its almost time to start thinking about going home to "Rhode Island"
I see that Mom, (Leah?)Connor & Dad will be visiting you in a couple of weeks.
I hope that they have a pleasant visit w/ you & that they have a very enjoyable time in "Prague".
I have had a good season here in Florida w/ my Herb & Vegetable garden, this has been a very fruitfull rewarding year, the tomato's were exceptional & many.
Sounds like you are having the time of your life, enjoy it while you can.
    Miss You,LU YU,

  4. HI: Brooke,
Happy Easter,so sad to hear that you have been sick,I do hope that your illness is brief. I do worry about you very much.
I heard from Mom today, that you are the official Chef for your apartment unit,I'm impressed, hope all turns out well for your "Easter Dinner"
The menu that you have chosen seams to be very agreesive & brave,"Good Luck"
Dad & Mom were cooking up a storm when I spoke w/ them this morning, they are having all of the "Saccoccio Clan" for Easter Dinner, what a trip that will be.
I'm cooking up my "Rollups" to take to Nada's Easter dinner @ 5: 00 o'clock this afternoon.
She is having about 14-16 people, talk about being brave,I won't think of doing that many people,to much work,I give her a lot of credit for hosting that many people one time.
Well I miss you & hope that you have a very special "Easter Sunday" God love you,
Hope to hear from you shortly,I tried to set up my "Skype" network to no avail, very frustrating to say the least can't, figure out the high teck stuff, getting to old for new info.
Sorry to cut you off,I need to go cook my "Rollup's" for this evening's meal.
