Terezin Memorial
For my Jewish Experience class, we took a field trip to the Terezin memorial/concentration camp. It was quite the visit. You could feel the torture, as you walked into the sleeping quarters and through the chambers. It was a really good experience though. It made the Holocaust so much clearer, and i can now envision what exactly went on. Unfortunately, it was something I probably wont ever go to again but was so memorable.
Carnival time, these Czechs don't mess around
On a nice bright sunny day, my flat mates and i decided to go fine a beautiful vineyard and sit in the sun, and enjoy moravian wine. However, we passed a tram stop and all we saw were huge carnival rides in the distance. So we obviously decided to take a detour. These rides were bigger then six flags! it was awesome. the first side went on for 5 minutes and gave us a thrill for sure. the second one, is me and chelsea being spontaneous and decide to do the sling shot ball, before seeing what it did. Well we did not expect it to go so high, it was unreal! my roommates caught us on camera!

Always a good time with the family!
Yesterday morning, the family left me. My parents, brother, cousin Ben, sister, and her best friend jenn were here. It was quite the week. Obviously I wasted no time for partying and dragged the girls on a pub crawl the first night. I fought with mom and dad, they wanted to join....they don't allow old folks. ; ) just kidding. But we had a jam packed week and had a blast. I will upload pictures later about our trip to Vienna, AUSTRIA. Now that they are gone I can sleep! Lol but the busy week was well worth it. They saw so much of this beautiful city and enjoyed their time here. I'm sure, those of you who speak to my mother, she will say I'm a crazy guide. I took them to pragues form of theatre, since they love PPAC, and they laughed the whole time. They thought it was a joke and I told them it was real. So the black light theatre with a story of Alice in Wonderland. As much as they made fun of me, I knew they loved the weirdness! But I will post pictures, and I'm sure they will too. So Tata for now. Tune in later for some highlights of my families visit!

Budapest, Hungary
I absolutely loved my visit to Budapest! It reminded me so much of Prague. I loved walking around the castles, and bridges, and enjoyed the pretty sites. The picture below is the turkish bath, which is a huge pool much like a hot tub. I liked it, but it definitely isn't very sanitary! But i unfortunately discovered I was coming down with a sinus infection and spent a bit of time in my hostel bed, after a long spring break.By the time I returned to Prague, i noticed i still had a fever and was now covered in bites on my body. I went to the doctor, and found out i did have a sinus infection, and also discovered i had scabies. I guess they live under your skin a month before you even notice, dating back to my stay in Amsterdam. Go figure, i got the bugs from my favorite country! But they are gone now, i just have little scars that will hopefully go away soon !

Barcelonaaaa
In a short phrase, here is my Barcelona visit. We stayed at the nicest hostel, met an awesome pro basketball player, lived the life, and enjoyed the warmth. When we got there, we went for a walk along the boardwalk, enjoyed mojitos, and I practiced my espanol. (comical, you can just imagine). We took this time to relax by the beach, and sleep in. It was a great trip. Also, i saw all the important places, climbed Park Well, and watched live Flamenco dancing. Here are some photos.

Paris !
Paris was the first stop of my spring break! It was a nice stay, in such a beautiful, romantic city, with friends haha. lol i enjoyed it, except for the fact it was like 20 euro for a hamburger and no fries, how dare them! haha We did a lot of walking around, enjoying the sites and road on a hop-on-hop-off bus which was perfect due to the size of the city! I had a great time!

Czech Folkdancing!
Last weekend, the Friday of Easter weekend, my friend Steph and I decided to go czech dancing, because it had free transport, 4 course meal, and dance lessons. Well we of course dressed like us East Coast American girls do, and waited outside of our Flat for, what we thought was a mercedes Benz, and was a ford old lady van. With no turning back, we got in the van with two elderly Asian woman, and headed to the dance hall. We get there and of course we are were the youngest people in the crowd by over 30 years. We laughed and cheered with our Plum brandy, and nonstop wine glasses. Obviously, the dancers chose us to be demonstraters, and we danced and laughed our heads off. The crowd loved us, and we enjoyed dancing with grandpas (sorry Pop and Gramps). lol But it was an amazing show and worth every penny! Here are some of the clips!
