Sensation White

Sensation White was a great big music festival that plays in major cities throughout the world. Praha, being an awesome city, had this concert a week before i was due home. Myself and my flat mates dressed entirely in white (with the rest of the concert goers) and went to listen to techno and house music. The music was literally syncs with your heart and you actually do get a sensation! It was so awesome and I would go back to one in a heartbeat!

Paragliding over the alps!

well this was an unexpected venture! of course Kristen and I see a flier about paragliding, tandum. Well i thought we were going sky diving, need to get better at detail ! lol and the weather was so hot, so i only had a dress and toms for shoes. well this ding-a-ling shows up at the landing pad like a moron, and everyone laughed. i told them itd make a good story, and they lent me pants.. and vest lol. we had to take a 20 minute crazy drive up the mountain, thought i was going to die. then we geared up, and did a practice run, well this shrimp couldnt help because my feet didnt touch the ground. but we had to run off a cliff and the parachute took us in the air and then i could sit down. it was such an amazing flight and view, most beautiful thing ever! my guide allowed me to drive the chute, which was frightening, but i did it! We had a photo shoot, and then he did some tricks with me and almost got sick ! lol dizzy mania. but the goof i am, they recorded me and had pics and asked if they could add them to their website...aka im famous, just kidding lol but i need to check if its there!

The hills are alive, to the sound of musiiccc !

Welcome to Salzburg!

What an amazing city. So quant, quiet, peaceful, and charming city. This might be my overall favorite place i have been. It was so pretty with many gardens, castles, and white capped mountains. It was such a beautiful sight. Salzburg is where the Sound of Music was filmed, so yes i saw the hills that are alive, and we sang along. Our guide was hysterical, and of course picked on Kristen and I being in the first row. It was very hot but we managed to get around the city, see just about everything we wanted, and stayed at an amazing hostel. No i didn't catch scabies, it was not $8 a night...learned that the hard way...whoops. lol But i highly suggest going here on your travels, the atmosphere just makes you happy !

London London London !

Im not sure if it was the lack of language barrier, the fact that we stayed with a local, or just my judgement, but i LOVED London. We were able to stay with a friend we met in Berlin, who came to stay with us also. He was such a great host, and he has some guts, housing 4 women for a few nights. Girls will be girls, though we tried to go with the flow, we are always a pain! haha. We spent the weekend going to english pubs, touring the city, shopping. Unfortunately, the weather was crappy, but no surprise for London ! I loved it so much, the people were so nice, the city was beautiful and we had a blast!

John Lennon Wall

The famous John Lennon wall, is located about one minute from my school, as well as the Charles Bridge. This wall of ever-changing street art, was made in memory of John Lennon. The wall contains random art, along with lyrics of the Beatles songs. The wall was first used during communism, as a way for artists to rebel. This movement was named "Lennonism;" in memory of his death.

When i was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life

Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans

Wine Country, Moravia!

On a nice warm and sunny day, my 3 flat mates and I, decided to take a nice trip down to see the wine country in Moravia, Czech Republic. We hopped on a train, three hours later we were dumped off at a dirt lot. Off course, I think im like superwoman, and I decide to jump off the train, it sounded good at the time. Well my face begged to differ, when it landed right on the rocks. So rough start, but we got right to eating and having wine. Then we headed over to the palace where the wine cellar was. It was so amazing. You could choose from 100 white wines, 100 red wines, and 50 sweet wines. They told us we could taste them all. Well we realized about midway, we shouldn't have tried every one. Needless to say, we only got to taste about 80 white wines, none of the rest. Typical, i know, they were all starting to blend! lol But you can see in one of the pictures...we got to clean our glass in between each sample, to get rid of the residue. We were scheduled to see a tour of the palace, and also rent bicycles. Needless to say, we forgot the palace, and weren't trying to get a DUI on a bicycle in the Czech. So we just lounged around until the train, and had a nice quiet ride home ! =]
